Drive units
The eBike motor, also referred to as the drive unit, gives you additional electrical support depending on your effort, speed and the selected riding mode.
Powerful, smooth, versatile
Drive units from Bosch give you a unique riding experience. To provide the appropriate support for your day-to-day adventures, they are optimised for the various eBike types.
Mid-drive motor
A mid-drive motor is mounted in the centre of the bottom bracket. This offers optimum weight distribution, efficient support and a natural riding experience.
Hub motor
A hub motor is integrated in the eBike's rear wheel. It provides quiet, smooth support and ensures easy maintenance and reduced wear

Determine the performance values of your drive unit yourself – and set them in the custom riding modes of the eBike Flow app.
Torque
A higher torque lets you accelerate more quickly. Making this ideal for technical uphill riding or when transporting heavy loads.
Power
By increasing the maximum peak motor performance, you’ll be able to tackle strenuous trail sections or steep climbs more easily.
Support
With higher maximum support, you’ll be able to rely on a powerful boost in any situation – even at low cadences.
